“The earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,”
David draws no dividing lines: the whole earth and everything in it belong to the Lord. No corner of the world escapes His ownership.
It is not just the ground that is His, but everything that fills it — every harvest, every river, every good thing you hold in your hands today.
You, too, are included in that ownership. This does not diminish you — it means your life is held in the care of the One who owns it all.
If everything is the Lord's, what we call 'mine' is only borrowed. We manage with gratitude what has always, in truth, belonged to Him.
If the whole earth rests in His hands, you can loosen your tight grip on what you fear losing. The Owner tends to what is His.
Act: choose one thing today you treat as your own property — time, money, or a plan — and offer it to God in prayer as what has always been His.
