“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
Paul asks what all of us should ask: whose approval am I seeking? The answer shapes an entire life.
Living to please everyone makes you a slave to everyone. You cannot serve two audiences.
In Christ, the verdict is already in: accepted. You do not obey to win approval — you obey from it.
Obeying God sometimes means disappointing people. It is one of the quietest forms of courage.
Live today aware of one gaze: the Father's. An audience of One simplifies everything.
Act: identify one decision you have been making to please someone, and before breakfast bring it to God in prayer — and decide before Him.
