“And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”
Before it reaches your children, the Word must live in you. No one passes on what they do not carry.
God did not confine faith to a building or an hour. The school run and the grocery line are classrooms too.
The text names two hours: the day's end and its start. Make evening and morning prayer the anchors of your home.
Talk of them, the text says. Faith travels through dialogue: ask questions at the table and truly listen to the answers.
Teaching diligently is sowing the same field many times. Every small conversation drives the root deeper.
Act: before breakfast, choose one short verse and say it aloud to your family — or text it to the ones who live far away.
