“Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.””
God asks this question right after overhearing Sarah laugh from inside the tent. He doesn't need an answer — He wants you to arrive at it yourself.
Sarah laughed "to herself," thinking no one would hear. God knows even the doubt you've never spoken aloud, and He still stands firm on His promise.
"At the appointed time" shows God doesn't improvise dates — He already knew exactly when Isaac would be born. What feels like delay to you is already marked on His calendar.
A couple in their nineties would not have children by any human logic. Every impossibility you see today is still subject to that same question.
Isaac means "laughter" — the boy's very name would preserve this story forever. God sometimes turns your doubt today into tomorrow's joy with a name of its own.
Act: Before breakfast, name out loud one thing that feels impossible in your life right now, and ask God, "Is anything too hard for the LORD?"
