God Sees the Heart
“The LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”
1 SAMUEL 16:7 · ESV

APPEARANCES IMPRESS US
Even Samuel was impressed by Eliab: our eyes measure stature and image — and stop at the surface.

GOD CORRECTS OUR GAZE
“Do not look on his appearance” — God refuses human metrics and invites us to see by another standard.

THE LORD SEES THE HEART
God's gaze pierces the surface and reaches who we truly are: motives, character, and faith.
4.
SEEN IN OBSCURITY
David kept sheep, forgotten in the field, yet never invisible to God. He sees you where no one notices.
5.
FREE FROM MASKS
If God already knows the heart, we don’t have to perform. Before Him we can be entirely real.
6.
TEND THE INNER LIFE
Act: pray “Search me, O God” today, and put right one thing only God can see.
