“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Paul groups three short commands and calls them, together, God's will — Scripture rarely states this directly what God wants for you.
'Always' doesn't depend on circumstances — this joy doesn't deny hardship, but finds in God a reason for gladness that doesn't shift with the day.
'Without ceasing' doesn't call for formal prayer all day long, but an ongoing conversation with God running underneath everything you do.
Notice it doesn't say 'for all circumstances' — you don't have to thank God for the pain, but you can thank Him within it, trusting His presence there.
'In Christ Jesus' anchors all of it — these three attitudes aren't achieved by sheer willpower, but lived out from the secure position you already have in Him.
Act: Pick one hard circumstance from today right now, and within it, rejoice out loud, pray over it, and thank God for one specific detail inside it.
