“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.””
Isaiah has just seen the Lord exalted, heard the seraphim crying holy, and had his lips purified by a burning coal — only after that comes this call.
God doesn't point a finger at anyone — he asks aloud, "who will go?", leaving room for someone to volunteer freely.
Before knowing the task, Isaiah presents himself — availability comes before the details; he says yes to the call before knowing the cost.
He doesn't suggest someone else's name — he asks to be the one sent; answering God's call is always personal, never something to delegate.
Seeing God's glory could have left Isaiah merely afraid — instead, the holiness that purifies him propels him directly into the mission.
Act: Say out loud, "here I am, send me" before knowing exactly where — then ask God what specific task he has for you today.
